I haven't forgot about you!

Dear blog of mine. I miss you everyday. Things just are not the same without my laptop. Whine. Whimper. Moan. I know I bitch alot about not having it..but with it, I could have a thought, and just type it up right there. I am typing on Sparky's computer right now. And although he did get a new office chair, (Thank God!) His desk is still a mess! Boo! Hiss!
I have 3 weeks left of work, so I have been trying to stay later everyday I can to gain some extra time..that in turn is reaking havoc in my life as by the time I get home, deal with a cranky toddler, feed the toddler and try to act like a mom..(I hope!) I am whipped and too tired to try to wade through the war zone that is Mike's space.
He did get a call from HP today and was told that there is an expected arrival date of April 23rd. Um...yeah, that isn't going to work for me..expecially when I fedexed it to HP on the 18th...OF MARCH! So now we are in limbo land waiting for the higher ups to call us with the list of excuses of why they cannot get it here sooner. DO NOT buy an HP laptop. Not Compaqu either..or however you spell it. They are the same company..I had my old laptop which was the above one that is spelled wrong for 3 years..went through countless power cords..I knew it wasn't me..then we thought, hey, let's really spoil Heather, and have one built with everything she could ever want...bad idea. Seems that the 17 inch models seem to have some bugs they need to fix, or so that I am reading and finding out about now. I am miserable without it. Not that I need it to whine on here. I depend on it for my everyday things..my mommy board that I love so much, my banking, my JOB search and school searches I NEED to be doing..using it to load all of my pics..I am just a mess without it.
The only good thing that has come out of it being gone is that I had Mike move all of the furniture around and now we can sit on a couch together and watch tv and snuggle instead of having those chairs in there..so that is good thing that we can snuggle.
I just cannot get over how fast time is flying for some things now..next month is the beach trip..then I will hopefully start school..eek! Lets slow things down a bit!
I promise to post more, and more frequently again. I really miss my blog!
