The weather is gorgeous outside, but I am inside. Matthew has some allergies issues today so we are waiting to see whether he will be able to go out later after lunch and a nap. He has been such a sweet little boy today. We went to Hirons and picked up daddy's Father's Day present. He was such a good boy in the store with all of the breakables! I was stressed to the max to bring him in with me, but he found a little jewelry box to play with and offered himself to sit on the floor while I looked for the item we had planned to buy. Then we went through the drive through for a drink..over his favorite bridge of course, and into the medical clinic where I needed to follow up on my TB test that I had done the other day for school. I took the stairs up in the building purposely so that I could surprise him with an elevator ride on the way back down. I made his day today.
So the drs appointment didn't go as well as I had wanted it to yesterday and I will see a specialist on Monday to have an echo to see what is exactly going on with my baby girl's heart. There could be something really wrong, or there could be something minimal, or something not at all. How's that for you? Yeah..me too.
Later we are going to make cards for daddy and then Mike should be home early this evening so we can watch movies or something. I hope that he doesn't spring on me that he is going to close to get caught up. That would mean midnight, and that would be a bummer! But I think he will probably come home around 8ish..he knows I am really wanting to spend time with him.
Other than that..we are going to just chill today..just Matthew and I. He is on a sugar rush since I let him have a ton of candy earlier. I always let Friday's be treat day, and he does pretty well with it. He just better eat some lunch in a little while, or I am in trouble!
